What we do

studio 1961 is a branding and web studio. We work with brands that want to look better than they currently do — from a first brand on the market to a rebrand of an established company. We take a business situation and deliver the mix of strategy, identity, website and content that fits it.

How we work

A small team without account layers — the client speaks directly with the people doing the work. A project starts with an hour-long conversation, continues with scope, price and deadline on a single page, and runs with the same team from strategy to a deployed website.

What we are not

We are not a performance-marketing agency, not a media buyer and not a template shop. We do not run ad accounts and we do not resell website builders.

  • New Brand — Launch looking like you’ve already made it. We build the brand from the ground up — positioning, name, visual system and the first website. You leave with what you need for the first meeting with the market, not with a manual for the drawer.
  • Rebrand — Look as good as you have grown. The company moved on, the brand did not. We go through what holds and what holds you back, and build a system that survives another five years of growth — including a switch-over without downtime.
  • Web That Sells — You have the traffic. Not the orders. We rewrite the site around how the customer decides: structure, content, speed, checkout. Measured on conversion, not on impression.

One item in session storage (sessionStorage) — a flag that you arrived here from another page of this site. Thanks to it, the full intro preloader does not replay on every click-through.

It is not a cookie, it is never sent to a server, it holds nothing about you, and it disappears the moment you close the tab.

The Hellix typeface is hosted on this domain. No fonts are loaded from third-party servers, so no request leaves this site.

Who processes your data

What data we hold

This site has no database and no user accounts. We store nothing that could be tied to a particular person until you contact us yourself.

The contact form does not send data to our server — it opens your email client with the message prefilled. Whatever you write there reaches us as an ordinary email, and we handle it like any other post: name, email address, optionally company, and the content of the message.

Why we process it

So that we can reply to you and agree on working together. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering an enquiry, and — once we are working together — the performance of a contract.

How long we keep it

Project correspondence is kept for the duration of the work and three years after it ends. Enquiries that did not lead to a project are deleted within one year.

Who we share it with

We never sell it and never pass it on for marketing. Our email provider has access to the mailbox as a processor, and our accountant to the extent needed for invoicing.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, the right to object and the right to data portability. Writing to hello@1961.studio is enough.
